Question of the Day -- Enlightenment?? Did You say Enlightenment?

Posted on Jul 7th, 2008 by yaffie : yaffinity yaffie
HELP!!   Please, enlighten me, maybe I am a stooge, or a bit naive. Maybe I am seriously lacking in intelligence or I am so ignorant as to beleive that I truly have a brain and I really do not...Maybe i am caught in a connundrum of excessive deferment  to moral issues --I wish -  but I am seriously wondering how someone can claim enlightenment while denigrating, mocking, and wanting to alter the conscience of the world as we know it, to exclude the highest symbol for God and Godliness in the world -that being the word God itself- and to create a new and 'higher form ' of 'enlightened' verbiage  from unproven philosophies that may or may not measure up to the highest of standards in the land now; may not have the blueprint of action needed to strive for those standards and may not even include or have any regard for such things as 'holiness,' morals, sexuality? Can someone who is upright and moral, believes in GOD and strives to be Godlike, to imitate God in his powers and energeries regarding purity of thought and holiness, please answer me...

all kinds of people claim enlightenment, dear Yaffa… God is far above anything that seeks to nullify and detract from God. no need to worry…

well, i am not so sure you want me to reply to this, but you probably knew that i could not resist…you did ask…

it is my understanding that this Consciousness is what many have found to BE the God of their understanding…

i am not limited today by holy religion…the God of my understanding, which in my poetry and songs might be called any of the following,  Awareness, God, Christ, Buddha, The Golden Soul, Truth, Consciousness, Pure and Perfect Peace beyond understanding, Bliss beyond, Chaos, Passion…even the moon and the stars…the great Spirit of the Universe touches everything i see and do not see…even down to the tiniest blade of grass…so, as you can see, my God is not confined to a singular concept…i see God…as that very life within the beauty of a child's twinkling eyes…a rainbow, a brilliant night sky scattered with stars…

God is not limited as i understand God…not even by religion…

even though we might disagree on what God means to us individually…there are soooooo many things that we can find in common…

and regardless of what we believe…we have to conceed that we are interconnected by this very wonder-filled gift of life…and that too, must be considered divine…

much love, always, star…

star, this is not even a question…God is everywhere and in everything…the commandments of God are to hone us, to teach us how to live, they are for us to emulate God and to expand our own potential. It is not either or…how would you know how to behave if not for Gods word?? How will you know who or what God is, if you don't know anything about God?? Anyone can see God in the skies and stars, in flowers and in all of every living and animate thing, but how would you know how to treat your husband, your father, a friend?? We have a blueprint called the torah that gives us basic information on higher thought and learning..to elevate us and to refine us…the problem is that many people dont' want to be bothered and so they rebel rather than reach, their potential….and they are not at all Godlike..because they do not manifest Gods ways and attributes..

and for sure, if we take God from our vocabulary, you can bet it will be a design strictly for the fall of mankind..from the side of impurity…its a clever, sophisticated argument, but i beleive deceptive. Its clever because it seems to be coming from some sort of desire for higher levels of communication…lol…but what is higher than GOD?? nothing…

i respect your beliefs, and your right to express them…but again, i am not confined or limited by the Torah…nor any teaching or religion of any kind…

you may think that i will burn in hell, and that is ok, i am also not controled by what you think…you may believe that it is your duty to save me, but i assure you it is not…but know that you gave it your best shot…

i spent years within the confinements of a guilt based religion…and i have no desire to re enter any other…i am free…truly free…i could explain it through the concepts of christianity if it would make you feel better…

christ brought liberation; the law of liberty, which was/is the law of love…if you are guided by love, your true nature, that spirit of God, has written his laws upon your heart and your mind…and you are said to have that very mind of Christ…or Awareness…since Christ was one with the Father, or the Supreme Source, and he prayed for all that belonged to him, that they be One also with he and his Father, then there is nothing of me that is outside of God…IN GOD WE MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING…

it was never meant, imo, for one to be a follower of Christ…he even said that we are equal to him…in many places within the scriptures…we are to be Christs…or Buddhas…a reflection of the Ancient of Old…whose seed is within all of life…how could it not be…

again, i am ok, and you are ok just the way we are…i do not need anyone to tell me how i should treat another…it is written upon my heart…and in my mind…it is my true nature to love…it is only when i am distracted that this ever becomes a problem…and when that happens, all i need to do is be aware of what my actions are…and then as Paul said, put those things behind me…and press forward to the high calling…that calling is a spiritual calling that need not even words to be expressed…

i love to speak of these things…so thank you for giving me the opportunity…always, star…

i'll have a glass of sparkling water please…lol…i am a recovering drunk…mlol…

i did not mean to imply at all that my life is not one of learning…although it has included and been one of unlearning those conditioned limits which limit us and confine us to the box of our beliefs…

it is just that my box today has no sides…it is open to all that is available…and not limited by religious doctrines…

much love to you ms. y…drink from the everlasting fountain of life…which is your own true nature…and live…

always, star…

I would say that IT HAS taken a study of ALL religions and a final understanding of the importance of ZEN, as a non-religion, to make me a better member of the Christian collective, into which I was baptised and confirmed.  Christianity IS a patriarchal interpretation of the ”GOD of LOVE” as manifested by the prophet Jesus, IT IS for each and every one of us to individually connect with the ONE and ONLY GOD within us and then let GOD BE GOD from within … NOT TO BE TOLD HOW TO DO IT FROM ALL THE MULTITUDE OF OUTSIDERS that HAVE DONE SO since the beginning of our time on earth.

Christianity is a an offshoot of Judaism…a bit of  mistaken theology as it is taken from Judaism and perverted into christianity, which by the way jesus never established…Jesus was a jew, kept shabbat and holydays, kept kosher, was a rabbi, and taught judaism based on moshe, as it is written in the book of hebrews: MOSHE is taught every SABBATH in the SYNAGOGUE..pure judaism…….
christianity came AFTER his death…is not part of him or his agenda, never was…

Eastern philosophy also has its roots in judaism…Ishamael, the son that Abraham went to the east and brought the teachings of Abraham there…Brahman, same letters and meanings as abraham…father on nations, etc. etc. etc. has its roots in Judaism..lol

Christianity is a an offshoot of Judaism… MY POINT ENTIRELY ( ism's ALL ) … but one which is here seemingly little understood … because I VERY DEFINATELY DID NOT SAY THAT JESUS HAD ESTABLISHED CHRISTIANITY. Far from it, I made the very clear point that Jesus proposed his “own interpretation” of the GOD of LOVE and that Christianity IS a patriarchal interpretation of his teachings.  It was non-jews and jews alike who named …
Jesus as “Christ” - not Jesus himself …  which therefore pre-poses the  question …

” what ONE GOD of LOVE  came  before  Judaism ? ”

great, the One God was the One abraham threw away his father idols for which he then taught his children and it was passed on to the hebrews and israelites . At Mt Sinai when the torah of moses came down all the souls that said yes to the God of abraham, said, yes, we will accept the torah,' we will do and then we will understand. At that point, everyone who fwas there became the Jewish Nation…some were gentiles and most were hebrews,  read my article, entitled Shavuot: the torah of yisro and ruth,”  you will find there the answers..

IT IS perhaps, now, time for some collective INDEPENDENCE of MIND, SPIRIT & ACTION,
in consideration of what Master Charles Cannon has to say about Time for a New God.
