According to Snopes.com, Princeton was requested to put a 'restriction' on distribution of any copies of the thesis of Michelle Obama (a/k/a/ Michelle laVaughn Robinson) saying it could not be made available until November 5, 2008 but when it was published on a political website they decided they would lift the restriction. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/thesis.asp
Subj: Thesis - Michele Obama aka Michelle LaVaughn Robinson
OBAMA'S MILITANT RACISM REVEALED
In her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama stated that America was a nation founded on 'crime and hatred'.
Moreover, she stated that whites in America were 'ineradicably racist'. The 1985 thesis, titled 'Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community' was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to 'Whites at Princeton , it often seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first...' However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, 'If those 'Whites at Princeton ' really saw Michelle as one who always would 'be Black first,' it seems that she gave them that impression'.
Most alarming is Michele Obama's use of the terms 'separationist' and 'integrationist' when describing the views of black people. Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a 'separationist' view of race. 'By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.' Obama writes that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her 'further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.'
Michele Obama clearly has a chip on her shoulder. Not only does she see separate black and white societies in America , but she elevates black over white in her world. Here is another passage that is uncomfortable and ominous in meaning: 'There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost.'
What is Michelle Obama planning to do with her future resources if she's first lady that will elevate black over white in America ? The following passage appears to be a call to arms for affirmative action policies that could be the hallmark of an Obama administration. 'Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments.'
The conclusion of her thesis is alarming. Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that black alumni identify with our common American culture more than they value the color of their skin. 'I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that Black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility.' Is it no wonder that most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire? Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input. Michelle Obama does not look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans. She sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another. The thesis provides a trove of Mrs. Obama's thoughts and world view seen through a race-based prism. This is a very divisive view for a potential first lady that would do untold damage to race relations in this country in a Barack Obama administration.
Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism should give all Americans pause for deep concern. Now maybe she's changed, but she sure sounds like someone with an axe to grind with America. Will the press let Michelle get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? I am sure that it will. PS: We paid for her scholarship.

It is so disheartening that both sides can't see past colour and divisions, repression and fears. It looks like it will take a lot of brave young people intermarrying, ties of blood intermingled will eventually wash away the mistakes of the past. Neither side is superior, both have many fears to overcome and much to learn about love.
Yes, it is Gael…
but as far as the measure of a man goes….and as far as character goes….McCain has it, michele and obama can be as militant as they want, but neither of them can stand against the record of life expereince and sacrifice for our country as John MCCain…that is the bottom line here……..
My two sons are black/African American and we have lived the racism in this society.
I had NO idea how ugly people can be to little boys and a white woman or how ulgy people can be when they think little tiny boys are playing alone on the playground and they BELIEVE through their own judgment their Mother is NOT close to them. Many whites are prejudice and I came across the most ugly oppositions with teachers, school adminstrations and law enforcement while DOING NOTHING WRONG but simply being the Mother of my sons. Just a SMALL part of what I endure was horrible and they endure much much more. We even had violence against us with NO assistance from law enforcement and I protested in this county greatly. White people do NOT know what it is like to be black in this country.
I believe with all my heart that what my sons and I endured were a small percentage of the ugliness of a few people. I will read Michelle's thesis. I also know I have enhances who I am since my writings in college. Let's pray we all keep enhancing in who we are and are not STUCK in our own dogma.
I love you Yaffa!

We all need to drop the labels and judgments that we place upon each other, whether that they be against individual people or a race of people.
It has really come to my awareness/consciousness in the last few weeks as to how sick the mind is when we let the ego rule it. You see, all judgment comes from past experiences and current beliefs, and the ego-mind likes to project those judgments and beliefs onto others on a daily basis, it then attaches those misguided thoughts to the current situation therefore creating (in it's own mind) something that is not real (an illusory situation). It then processed to blame, fight, urge with and get upset at the very thing that it created (set-up; up-set in reverse order). When we come to this realization we then see that the very thing that we are fighting against is of our own making. We have therefore decided to project our negative thoughts and judgments onto others causing us to see (create) a “bad” guy, so that we could convince ourselves that it is not us that is in the “wrong”, but instead it is them that is “wrong”, and therefore giving us something to fight against. This is complete madness!
This is why we must learn to release our negative thoughts and become still, therefore being an observer to the moment, instead of the judge, jury and executioner, once this is accomplished we will all see the perfect perfection of which we were all created by, and live through. In a new poem that I am almost finished with, which I have called, “Heaven” I have a line in there that states, “Heaven on earth is all I now see.” This is what we will come to discover once we release ourselves from judgments and surrender to every NOW moment! This is all that matters in creating the NEW EARTH.
We must all learn to free ourselves from our in-grained DOGMA. Only then will we be able to heal ourselves and therefore we will heal the world. Once we do this we will be free of the limiting DOGMA that we believe in and we will find that we are all AMGOD (dogma spelled backwards).
“Free your mind and the rest will follow!” –En Vogue (90's all girls pop music group)
“Be still and know that I am God.” –Psalms 46:10
“The caterpillar trusts his maker that all is well. He does not cling to his old garment and thus is transformed into a magnificent butterfly. There is no pain, it is a natural transmutation. So it is with us. As the chrysalis is the bridge between caterpillar and butterfly, so is True perception the bridge between separation and Oneness. We are transmuting into a new state of Being. Clinging to our caterpillar stage, our old ways of judgment, we shall never learn to fly into the dawn of a new day.” –Peter O. Erbe “God I am”
Yes, I agree, it is pathetic how this race card has come forth. It disgusts me that someone could use the race card like this to promote an agenda.
I am sorry you had to experience this leann, it is sad indeed to have to grow up in that. It is also the same by the way, to a lesser degree for many ethnic groups, and more so for jewish people..
Obviously this country has come a long way, as we are putting forth our money where our mouth is to support everyone, and to pay their tuitions through school, not to mention, the opportunity to become president.
My only point here is to pick the best character and qualified man with integrity, maturity, dignity, who is honest about his intentions and has the character and the backbone; who has the respect and experience, the power, to get the job done..I beleive that is mccain..
blessings,
yaffa
Nice Brian
I agree that past has nothing to do with NOW.
Any past experiences bring awareness to choices for NOW.
Reminders of any past stuff that pop up can show a shift of empowerment. We have a NEW EARTH NOW with consciousness.
Old experiences, old writings, past, let's leave it.
AMGOD is very excellent.
Yaffa, I appreciate your love and concern. We feel these experiences provided opportunity to share light in the world. Our county, law enforcement and school teachers and adminstrators have been through major education due to a few of us making choices to shed light here. Very cool!
Let's keep Being AMGOD as Brian mentions here.
Love you Both,
LeAnn
